Off weekend, and a Security Advisory

Taking time with family and doing the things on my list that need to be done, so blogging will be extremely light (non-existant maybe) for 24 hours more.

Busy week coming up, and with it being summer, I need to go to the fair :-). I have also decided I am going to fast today. First time I thought of doing this. I have eaten so much take-out, pizza, restaurant, crap food in the past 2 weeks that my body needs to catch up I think. I am going to drink liquids (Diet-coke and water) but no "food". I dont know if that qualifies for fasting, but thats what I am doing.

As a side note, Secunia posted a security advisory for 'zlib'. Secunia only lists Linux on this advisory, but others (Whitedust)out there also say the vulnerability exists in Microsoft products as well.

Be on the lookout for a potential fix then from Microsoft on Fix-It Tuesdays, and for other platforms time to upgrade your zlib !

(By the way, zlib is used to view PNG files as one example....)

UPDATE: Microsoft updated ANOTHER vulnerability, this one is nastier!!!! Go read about this if you are running Windows.
